We are in His hand

God Who Breaks Bondages

The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
(Psalm 103:6)

Beloved, the whole world is under the sway of the wicked one. Sin draws us away from the presence of God and we fail to receive peace, joy and holiness given by the grace of God. We later wonder when we would receive deliverance from slavery. In this world we are bound by sickness, poverty, and problems but we should know that the Word of God never changes.

The psalmist David says, “For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the Lord viewed the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death” (Psalm 102:19,20). According to this scripture, when we pray with groaning in our hearts, He hears our prayers from heaven and breaks all our bondages and deliver us (Psalm 116:16).

Once there lived a family in unity. They lived in joy and their lives were filled with divine blessings and others became jealous of them. They would go to church together and the people living in their street were surprised by their unity. One day the head of the family fainted in his office and was admitted to a hospital. When the family was informed of his condition, they were shattered. The family that was living in peace and joy now began to run into troubles. As the medical expenses went soaring, they had to borrow money more and more to meet the expenses. They began to feel they were bound by debt, and mental agony. So they all fasted and prayed together that God should break the bondage in their lives. God answered their prayers and healed the head of the family and broke the bondage in their lives. He gave them victory over their problems and blessed them abundantly.

Beloved! The Lord Jesus Christ is all powerful to break all the bondages in your life. The Bible says, “The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed” (Psalm 103:6). When He speaks, it will be done; when He commands, it will stand fast (Psalm 33:9). So seek the Lord diligently and you shall witness His miracle working power manifesting in your life mightily.

God Who Treads our Enemies

The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
(Psalm 41:2)

Beloved, our adversary the devil works against us to destroy us. He constantly works through evil people to destroy us (Psalm 56:2). But our God is powerful to destroy the plans of the devil and our enemies and is powerful to rescue us (Psalm 18:17).

The Lord gave victory to King David over his enemies because he diligently sought Him and walked in His ways. King David says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over” (Psalm 23:5).

When you seek the Lord and hold onto Him, He will deliver you from the snares of the wicked people and bless you.

“The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies” (Psalm 41:2).

Beloved, whatever problems you may face, do not lose heart. The Lord will defeat them and give you victory. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Therefore my beloved, strengthen yourself in the Lord. Place all your fears in the presence of the Lord. He will strengthen you and give you a divine power to defeat your enemies.

In the initial stages of Jesus Calls Ministries, God spoke to brother Dhinakaran about all the facets of the ministry. When he started to implement these plans, some evil people in jealousy spoke against him and wrote against the ministry in their magazines. When the people who read these slanderous remarks sent a copy of it to us and asked us the reason for it, our hearts were shattered. The only thing Bro. Dhinakaran did was to place before the presence of God all the burden of his heart and the evil plans of the enemies. Oh! What a wonder! The Lord answered our prayers and made our enemies flee in shame. He blessed us and made us accomplish all the work that He had planned for this ministry. Praise God! Today, by the grace of God this ministry has multiplied and expanded all over the world.

Beloved! Do not lose heart or give up. Take all your problems and hindrances that are brought by the enemy to the Lord (Luke 10:39, 42). The more you depend on Him, the greater will be your victories in your troubled times. A life without prayer is a hollow life but a prayerful life brings down the blessings of God and the protection of God in our lives. So, let us seek the Lord faithfully and we shall have victory in life.

Love of God

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
(1 John 4:18)

Dear friend, many times in life we are gripped by problems and fear and wonder what to do. Bewildered, we are unable to take the right decision and end up in misery, tears and agony.

The Bible says the Lord pours His love into you through His Holy Spirit. When the abundant love of God enters into you, the spirit of fear which grips you shall be driven out (1 John 4:18). Then you can drive out the evil spirit and the spirit of flesh which brings losses. The Holy Spirit shall surround you. He shall cover you with His blessings and through that you would receive abundant prosperity. Your territory shall be enlarged. Your children shall score high marks in their exams. You and your children shall be promoted in your jobs. The love of God shall engulf your family and the gifts of the Holy Spirit shall increase in your life.

In the Bible we see that during the time of Joseph there was a severe famine in Israel. Joseph feared the Lord and walked in His ways. Even at the time of famine, the Lord enlarged the territory of Joseph because he was filled with the Spirit of God. The love and wisdom of God increased in Him. The Lord clearly showed him what to do in the nation. The king saw that no one was wise and discerning as Joseph and humbled himself before him and gave him permission to do anything in the nation. Joseph collected all the food produced in the seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities for the years of famine. So when there was a famine in all the nations, Egypt had sufficient food (Genesis 41: 47-54). Joseph was exalted in the nation at the time of famine.

Dear friend, today people may lose many things in this world. But when you seek the Lord you shall abound with riches and honour. The Bible says, “Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all” (1 Chronicles 29:12). The Lord shall fill you with His love and you shall be connected to God through the Holy Spirit. He shall grant you His wisdom through the Holy Spirit. Through this divine wisdom your family and your job shall be protected and you shall be exalted in the nation.

The Lord Delivers Those Who Fear Him

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.
(Psalm 34:7)

Beloved! In this sinful world, we face dangerous situations and often end up in despair not knowing what will happen to us the next moment.

In the Bible we read how King David was driven out by his own son Absalom (2 Samuel 15:14). He lost everything he had. Yet, he remained steadfast in his trust in the Lord. So, in a miraculous way, God restored everything David has lost and blessed him in an immeasurable way. Beloved, do you have the same indomitable trust in the Lord like David? If you have that trust, God will surely take away all your fears and disappointments and bless you abundantly and honour you before everybody (Jeremiah 17:7).

In the year 1985, my husband Bro. Dhinakaran underwent kidney transplant. While he was recuperating, one night he could not sleep at all. That time, the devil appeared to him and said, “Dhinakaran, the Lord Whom you depended upon has forsaken you. You will certainly die.” But my husband continued to look up to God in prayer. The Lord comforted my husband through His Arch angel Michael who kept encouraging him saying, “Dhinakaran, you keep your trust in the Lord. Fear not! You will not die.” At that moment, the presence of God filled that room and the devil fled. The next morning around 7.00 a.m. when the chief doctor who came to check my husband saw his medical reports and said, “Bro. Dhinakaran you can return home, you are totally healed. You need not stay in hospital anymore. Just come and see me everyday for a check up.” All the fear in my husband’s heart vanished and was filled with joy. The Lord Himself delivered His servant from trouble because he feared Him and walked in His ways.

Beloved! The devil and the evil people try to intimidate us by their power. But when we look up to the Lord always, He will deliver us in a miraculous way and bless us. People may desert us in times of trouble but the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

The Bible says, “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them” (Psalm 34:7).

So walk in the fear of the Lord and hold onto Him. Then you shall witness His mighty power working miracles in your life.

God Who Guides You

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
(Psalm 32:8)

Dearly beloved, when surrounded by problems, you may think the Lord has forsaken you and you may feel like running away. But the Lord knows your path. You can neither run away from His presence nor hide yourself from His Spirit (Psalm 139:3,7,9). He is the Lord Who sees you. So humble yourself and submit your life to the Lord. Then He shall guide you in life. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (Psalm 32:8).

Many times you may wonder and question, “Does God know all our suffering and the path we tread on?” Of course, He knows everything about us. That is why He asked, “Hagar, Sarai’s maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?” (Genesis 16:8). Unable to bear the ill treatment of her mistress, Hagar left for the desert with great agony despite her being pregnant. As she knew the God of Abraham, perhaps she would have cried, “Oh! Lord why did You forsake me?” The Angel of God Who heard her cry asked her, “Hagar, where are you going?” and consoled her saying, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand.” Then I shall bless you and make your son a great nation.”

The Lord leads us in marvellous ways. When I was doing my school, I did not know much about the Lord though I read the Bible and attended church services regularly. One day a lady who was very spiritual visited our home. Filled with the Holy Spirit she prophesied about many things which amazed us because whatever she prophesied had been happening in our home in those days. Then she prayed for each one of us individually.

I was doing my XII standard. She laid her hand on me and as lead by the Holy Spirit told me to read the Bible and pray before I studied my school lessons. Then God would enable me to get the first rank in my class which I was trying to get. She further said that God has chosen to do His ministry and when I do the ministry my in laws would treat me like princess. I did as God spoke through her. Wonder of wonders! The Lord enabled me to get first place in English in the entire school. This made me believe the Lord fully. Since I obeyed the Lord, He united me with the family of God’s servants and even chose me for His ministry.

When I look at the way in which the Lord is leading me, I wonder how God can use an innocent person like me in His great ministry.

Dear friend, the Lord’s ways are really wonderful. In the same way He shall guide you too. The Bible says, “I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them” (Isaiah 42:16). Don’t be discouraged by the troubles you face in life. The Lord knows all your paths. Submit yourself in His hands and He shall lead you.

Manifold Blessings

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
(Luke 6:38)

Dear Friend, when you give to the Lord, His finest blessings shall come in search of you. He shall grant you abundant goodness and peace and along with that He shall give you the grace to enjoy these blessings.

“He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat” (Psalms 147:14).

“Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise” (Isaiah 60:18).

The Lord delights in blessing you and challenges you that when you give to Him, He will open the windows of heaven and rain down blessings on you.

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10).

Recently I met the family of a beloved partner. They have been in touch with the Jesus Calls ministry from the year 1979. Those days my father used to preach the gospel through the radio and this family was touched through these programs. Then they participated in a fasting prayer conducted by my father in the year 1982. The head of the family was doing a small job. But even in that condition they began to support the Jesus Calls ministry with their offerings. Miraculously a cycle manufacturing company, which was importing a small nut for the cycle, asked him whether he could locally produce that nut.

Immediately he bought a small machine and started the production of those nuts demanded by that company. The Lord blessed that venture. Even from the small profit he earned in that business, he began to send offerings to the Jesus Calls ministry. Gradually that company began to grow. The income of that company which was in thousands those days has now grown into lakhs. Now he is distributing those nuts not only to all parts of India but also to foreign countries. What a joy! Once again they came to Jesus Calls Prayer Tower as a family to give their offerings. With great joy they told, “For the past thirty years we have been supporting this ministry. Now the Lord has blessed us with His abundant blessings” and glorified God.
Dear Friend, the Lord is able to give you abundant prosperity when you give to Him. When you give to the Lord, it shall return to you in a manifold manner (Luke 6:38). The Bible says, “For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble… they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:22-24). You shall build your house and live in it. Your children shall live happily in it. Your children shall live happily and you shall enjoy abundant prosperity. Henceforth neither man nor the devil can rob you of your blessings.

Blessings by His Word

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
(Psalm 33:6)

Dear Friend! The Lord Jesus Christ is the God of blessing. The Bible speaks of how God created things and blessed them. His words bring blessings. The psalmist says, “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth” (Psalm 33:6).

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”

When the Lord Jesus Christ was in this world, He spoke gracious words and all the people who listened to His words were amazed (Luke 4:22). Every day we have to wait on the Lord for His blessings.

The psalmist David says, “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You” (Psalm 143: .

The psalmist David would wait on the Lord to hear His lovingkindness. He loved the Word of God and followed His words diligently. We should never read the Bible at a random but diligently read His word chapter by chapter. Then God will bless us and give us life.

He further says, “Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope.” (Psalm 119:116).

Everyday we seek God as a family. We all gather together and worship and seek the Lord in prayer both in the morning and in the evening. We begin and end the day in prayer. God loves the time we seek Him. He would speak to us through His word and through prophesy. Because we seek Him as a family, the Lord is using us as a family in His ministry. Our children watch us minister to the Lord and they themselves come forward to minister to God. Our children are very much interested in doing the Lord’s ministry.

One day, my younger daughter Sweety said she wanted to pray for the people like her elder brother and sister in the Kids show. That day she prayed for the people and a senior lady who was watching the program said to herself, “Will not any member of the Dhinakarans pray for me.” Just then, Sweety prayed asking the Lord to heal the viewers of their sickness. The power of God descended on that woman and healed her of the severe back pain! The Lord is using them mightily in the ministry. When they pray, the Lord anoints the people with the Holy Spirit.

Dear Friend! Everyday, you too seek Him as a family. Wait on Him and hear His word. His word will bring blessings and give life. He will bless you and protect you from all evil. You and your family members will be the head and not the tail.
